Vyvacious

Last night was Becky & Hayes Present:  Podcom 2/2!!  Aaaand I got a chance to sell my Sweet Motherfeckin’™ Cupcakes!  It was so exciting and fun and awesome!!  In preparation, I made Vyvacious business cards to hand out to people so they could check out my blog or email me for cupcake orders! :)

First, I sketched out some ideas in my head.  I knew I wanted cupcakes on my business cards…and I knew they had to be DISGUSTINGLY cute.  Of course, I wanted a little dash of Batman because c’mon…they wouldn’t be MY business cards without some Batman sprinkled all over that shit!!  I sent my sketches to my favorite designer, Christina.  She’s the one who designed my Vyvacious logo that is always appended at the end of my posts and she also did my header/side bars/etc.  Love her to death :) (She’s the one who’s a little camera shy in my last post! “1, 2, 3…PENIS!!!” :P)

I squealed like a banshee when I got back her renditions of my sketches.  A couple of tweaks later and I sent the images to my favorite stamp-making site, RubberStamps.net and TA-DA!!!  Vyvacious cupcake stamps, bitches :D

Aren’t they so cute?!  I screamed when the stamps came in the mail.  I pretty much looked like that ecstatic cupcake on the far right…  These cupcakes may or may not have been designed after my own facial expressions… ;)  And then I let the stamping commence…

EEEEEEE!!  These bitches took forever but it was soooo worth it for me!! :)  Let’s see the other side in all its glory, shall we? :)

Despite the fact that these took me a few hours to make since I had to cut each card out and stamp them individually, I love them to death!  It felt great to hand out some business cards to people.  It also felt great to market and sell my Sweet Motherfeckin’™ Cupcakes, yo!!  Just look at the cute sign I made for my cupcakes!

Notice the Batman-inspired cupcake liners…? :D  This particular Sweet Motherfeckin’™ Cupcake flavor choice showcased above is my Chocolate Pudding Cupcakes with a Brown Sugar Cloud Frosting.  I’ve been told that the frosting reminds people of flan.

Should I rename my frosting?  What do y’all think?

Either way here are the baseline recipes I used to make these Sweet Motherfeckin’™ Cupcakes.  I say baseline because every time I bake, I try to make it better than the last time.  This way, each time is an enhancement to my original recipe :)

A wonderfully sized crowd showed up!  A good portion of them were wrangled up by none other than yours truly ;)  (See, I’m a good Wrangler.  Like how I threw that reference in there, Le Clown? :P)

Everyone had a blast laughing, drinking, and stuff their faces with cupcakes of course!!

I ran around like a madwoman but had so much fun!  I was, however, EXTREMELY SAD about one thing…I left my fucking Batman apron at home :(  Those on you who follow me on Instagram or Twitter know that I ordered this beautiful Batman apron.  I was so excited to wear it last night.  And then I fucking failed.  Sigh.  I can be such a forgetful person sometimes.  I shall wear my Batman apron at any future cupcake gigs I do!!  But for now, you’ll just have to enjoy this selfie Batman apron picture for the time being.

Isn’t it so cute?!  Doesn’t it just fit me perfectly!?  So. Fucking. Giddy. Right. Now.

Batman aprons aside, I, of course, had to get my signature photo in with my beloved Sweet Mother :D

Seriously, this woman is hilarious, brilliant, AND the sweetest person you’ll ever meet!  It’s hard NOT to love her!!

One last picture with my carpool loves.  I had a great time chatting it up with Jon and Special K.  We laughed so hard during the car rides.  Oh, and we got burritos and horchata on our way home.  SCORE.  I know y’all are jealous :P

I just wanted to give  a great big thank you to everyone who showed up last night to support my first cupcake selling event and to watch a hilariously awesome comedy show.  It means so much to me to have you support me selling my cupcakes and also trust me to show you a good time.  If you know what I mean… ;)  But really, thank you!!  I love you all :D

And of course, I’m sending much love towards Sweet Mother for giving me this opportunity in the first place!!  You know I have nothing but love for you and Wifesy!  Thanks so much for everything!!
