Sweet Mother made me fecking™ cry
Can I just say…holy motherfecking™ llamas dancing in the purple candy sky!!!!!! I just met Sweet Mother and Wifesy last night!! I know y’all are jealous!! :P
I cautiously entered the area known as Podshare for the Podcom last night, not knowing what to expect. I dragged 14 other unknowing fools along with me, promising them a great time and cupcakes. It was like out of a movie, I walked in and saw her.
Could that be…could that really be the famous Sweet Mother who I’ve been stalking…*ahem*…following on WordPress for some time now?!
I stared at her too long, she looked at me and asked, “Vyvy…?” I think I said yes but I can’t be sure because I started screaming in excitement and charged at her. Soon we were hugging and jumping up and down, I was so happy she was just as excited to see me!! And I then I got to meet the famous Wifesy!! I felt honored.
From there, things got crazy with lots of running around, grabbing food, sitting in “pods” (beds), peeing, popping the caps off my favorite Wild Blue (blueberry) Lager …and then the REAL fun began. Sweet Mother was a sweetheart and saved 3 pods just for us!!
We ended up sharing with some other people but it was fun to mingle and chat! :) we all cozied on up and then started laughing our pants on. Literally. My pants were off. But that could have just been because I felt so comfortable AND I was in bed with 5 of my awesome friends. Sounds like any other Saturday night, right?! Kidding. There’s usually 15.
I laughed and I laughed while turning redder from lack of oxygen from snorting and maybe just a tad bit due to the blueberry lager. Sigh. Damn you, Asian glow!! *shakes fist*
Then Sweet Mother came on and literally yelled at us for the first 3 mins. YELLED. I was dying, it was hilarious. Luckily she reassured us that she was yelling from her vagina so I knew it was coming from a place of love.
Then she started on the Pepsi pussy shirt. I won’t go into it but let’s just say I was crying. Wiping away tears and smacking my friend next to me because I couldn’t stop laughing AND I was doin’ that sexy snorting thing that brings ALL the boys to the yard. Remember that time I was at a tea party and I couldn’t stop crying because I was laughing so hard? Yeah it was worse than that. You should read about it by the way, first post EVER!!

I had a major blast and felt so grateful that Sweet Mother saved pods for us AND got us onto the reservation list so tickets were only $5! If you’re in LA, fucking hit her up because hotdamn she and her crew put on a funny ass show!!
Even though this morning and afternoon were crazy busy, I was super excited that I was able to make and bring her cupcakes :) I pestered the shit out of her for what her favorite cake was. This pretty much shows you how much my last post (partially titled “I’m Larry(etta) The Cable [Gal]…”) really is true about how I like to make people happy :P Well, this is how I tried to make Sweet Mother happy.
Buttermilk Yellow Pudding Cupcakes with Dark Chocolate Frosting. Yum. I was handing them out like crazy but was sure to save Sweet Mother and Wifesy two BIG ASS cupcakes each :) and guess who’s going to be selling baked goods at the next Podcom show…? ;)

Becky (Sweet Mother), you’re amazing!! I had an amazing time tonight and couldn’t stop laughing the entire time! Please tell Wifesy it was so nice to meet her :)

Thanks Cathy!! I would say it’s because I’m being artsy but it’s really because I take a bite of the cupcake and then think “oh shit, I should really take a picture of this!!” :P I will try to take all my baked good pictures with a huge bite out of them in the future :)
