Florida Adventures (Part 2): Mango margaritas for underage kids

I bet you’re curious as to my post title, eh?  Well let me tell ya, I visited China, Italy, Mexico, & Poland…all in one day.  It was pretty fantastic.  Not only did I devour a bounty of food, I drank my way through every country as well.  I didn’t get carded once.  That is, until I arrive at Mexico to order my frozen mango margarita…  That’s when I realized, for the first time in 3 days, I had no idea where my ID was.

Terror.  Pure terror is what got me my way.  Despite my clear lack of identification, I still received my alcoholic beverage and he even wished me good luck in finding my ID! What a nice guy…

That’s how I realized I could make a fortune selling mango margaritas to children.  That could be my big break.

I’m joking obviously.  I heard kids prefer the strawberry ones anyway.

When people comment on how young I look, I like to really exaggerate on my age.  It’s just embarrassing when someone is trying to guess your age and they’re several years off to the point where it’s insulting…so I just tell them I’m 12 and it solves all my problems.  Except I don’t think it would have worked in today’s case.

To clarify things, I was at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.  This was completely unplanned but it worked out well in my favor.  I was already visiting my family, you can read about my Florida adventures (part 1) HERE if you’d like.  When I found out that I was going to at Epcot during their famous Food & Wine Festival, I freaked out.  Literally, screamed.

I ate a million and one things today at the Food & Wine Festival. Get ready for some pictures courtesy of my cousin Travis since his spiffy iPhone 5 takes much better photos than my laggy iPhone 3G :(

Curious Thought of the Day:

Did your parents ever let you try even a sip of alcohol as a child?

My mom was super strict. She still gets weirded out if I have alcohol in the house, even if I’m just storing it for a future potluck at a friend’s house and not even drinking it on the premise. I feel that’s a bit extreme but hey, everyone’s different, right?

I look forward to reading your thoughts! ;) Until next time, y’all! :)

    Looks like fun!

my parents were not super strict on alcohol. My dad was more than my mom. Yet every time my mom find out I drank she gets on my case about being responsible and what not. lol
